Walking 16:23 intensity: (17 @0) + (16:06 @1) 1.52 mi (10:47 / mi)
ahr:89 max:114

Walked from the hotel to Chelsea's place (also walked back with Christine at 9pm so doubled the mileage but didn't add time).
4 PM

Biking 45:00 [3] 14.4 mi (3:07 / mi)

P=160,C=74
Jumped on Chelsea's Peloton for a 45 min 90s Ride with JENN SHERMAN. Total output was 432 kj but would have been 450 if I hadn't a) struggled with the clips after skipping the intro and b) jumping off the bike to re-open the garage door that had closed magically about 12 minutes into the ride.

Biking 30:00 [3] 10.0 mi (3:00 / mi)

P=171, C=75
30 min EDM Ride with EMMA LOVEWELL (from 8/28/22 actually)
Wanted a 60 minute ride but didn't find a good one quickly so I did 45+30 instead. This ride was much more interesting (although the music was not as good) with more variation in cadence and resistance.

8 PM

Coaching 14:57 intensity: (7:36 @1) + (2:02 @2) + (2:22 @3) + (2:57 @4) 0.71 mi (21:03 / mi)
ahr:113 max:151

Did the "baby loop" with Lucy on roller skates, Joey on his scooter, Abe in Chelsea's wrap and Christine. It was my responsibility to run back and forth with Joey to make sure he didn't pop into the road or get plastered by someone backing out of the driveway. Only turned the Garmin on after I had already done about 6 intervals back and forth on Iris and the next street. Joey was tough to keep up with - he has no fear. We also chased Lucy a couple of times after she took her roller skates off and ran in socks.

BAOC Event at Bedwell Bayfront Park
Was really bad on the first seven controls, then got more in tune with the map and navigation improved. Could never really run fast enough to get winded, but my legs got heavy on the hills.

Short and easy bike ride after XC practice. Would have missed the start of the Bills meaningless preseason game (no starters except the long snapper and kicker), except for the lightning delay.

FCH3 from off W Ridge, set by Messiah. Nice urban trail although he re-routed us when he thought we wouldn't get through the cemetery before official closing time.

Quick bike ride after work before we took Luke to his new apartment near UR ahead of tomorrow's orientation. Lowlight of the ride came early on when a car missed me by inches on Scribner despite being the only car anywhere in sight so the whole road was available, then when I caught up at the light he said he was "gonna f*ck you up, b*tch". Highlight was improving my 5 mile best to 16:48 from mile 5 to 10.

Running 41:28 intensity: (3 @0) + (42 @1) + (5:21 @2) + (9:23 @3) + (16:03 @4) + (9:56 @5) 3.94 mi (10:31 / mi) +13m 10:25 / mi
ahr:142 max:165 weight:175lbs

2 song jog / 1 min walk up to pick up the Mustang from the dealer, hopeful that final resolution was achieved on the battery problem (it was 3 months old so they replaced it for free, but had to put in a new alternator this time). Fastest run since the 5K race in early June, and not a whole lot slower pace than that, despite being almost a mile longer. My right hip was barking in the evening afterwards, but no problem the next morning.

Found a wallet on Ridge near the dealer so Christine and Luke helped stalk the guy online and we wound up calling his mother's phone number to leave a message and he picked it up. I initially tried to drop it at the police station, but apparently they close at 4pm!
