Orienteering 33:00 [2] 2.75 km (12:00 / km)
rhr:45 slept:7.0

Line-O at Emery Park after the BFLO annual meeting. Nice exercise, especially given that Orienteering had fallen out of my recently-used list in the Activity pull-down menu and was back in alphabetical order. Zach went the opposite direction and just beat me back (but he did have a 1-minute head start and I had to stop to empty my shoe).

Running 20:00 intensity: (18:31 @2) + (1:29 @5) 2.58 mi (7:45 / mi)

Managed to get a little bit of running in during practice. The squad did a 3K time trial. Surprisingly, the Nike Nationals guys jumped in as well. Luke also wanted to do a time trial, so he ran an 800 in 3:29. He wanted more, so after the 3K, I did a 400 with him, and had trouble keeping up early and we ended up running 89 (out in 20 for the first 100, then steady 23s the rest of the way).

Running 55:38 [3] 7.34 mi (7:35 / mi)
slept:5.5

Finally back to GTA on a nice, early-spring morning. With Erik, Frank, JV, GG, plus Vinny for a while and Scott for a bit. They didn't drop me until we went up Crestview about 35 minutes into the run, but I caught them quickly after the top. This is not the exact route. It was too dark to read street signs and I'm not sure of the exact cut-throughs that we did. This comes up a little short of Erik's Garmin reading.

Running 43:09 [2] 5.75 mi (7:30 / mi)
rhr:43 slept:5.75

Running during track practice. Ran with the team from Schroeder over to Thomas, then timed them during their workout (400, 2 x (600, 400, 200), 400). I ran back and forth across the infield to give splits and did the recovery (1/2 the rep distance) to stay in the right spot to time.

14:55 to Thomas
14:44 back

Finally measured my HR this AM, and it was surprisingly low given last night's workout.

Running intervals 54:14 intensity: (42:20 @2) + (11:54 @5) 7.0 mi (7:45 / mi)
max:163 slept:6.75 weight:164.5lbs

Ran from home to the Bayview Y for some "speed" work on the treadmill. There was definitely an extra SPRING in my step today, which made this workout much easier than the 6 x 440 that I did on 2/25.

I did:
2 x 660 @ 10mph = 2:15
4 x 440 @ 10mph = 90
1 x 220 @ 10mph for 110, 11mph for 110 = 43
1 x 220 @ 11mph = 41

Recovery was 1/2 the interval distance (1/2 at 6.0mph, 1/2 at 6.6mph)

15:34 to the Y
16:04 back home

Running 25:00 [3] 3.33 mi (7:30 / mi)
rhr:7

Ran some during track practice at Schroeder. Had the guys do 3 x ~1 mile (2 laps around school) T as the base workout, but suggested that some of them could actually do the second lap at I pace.
