Really tired. I was light header 2/3rd through the course and finally had to stop and walk. I was seriously worried about passing out. I don't know what was causing it. Felt fine when after I finished.

Took me a few controls to adjust to the 1:5,000 map. Lost some time on one control was clean to most of the others. Just didn't have any umphh.

Friday Aug 25

Easy run. Legs still sore after soccer. I feel as if I have no speed. Whenever I stopped concentrating I realized that I would slow down. Tried to pick up the pace some the last mile.

Thursday Aug 24

My team played well. I started off poorly but then came on strong. All that altitude training really helped. I never felt out of breath. I ran hard and made some great plays. I had three assists. Unfrotunately I had a few prime opportunites to score but didn't.

Warm down after soccer. Jog around the parking lot. Felt good.

U.S. Champs. No energy in the legs. Orienteered fairly well except for one major lapse. The map was near impossible to read.
