ahr:108 max:138 shoes: O: falcons 2012

I was tired but I had to check out the field conditions. Unfortunately, The fields have gotten to overgrown. I decided to check out the whole yellow course. The park also closed a critical trail. I needed to totally redo the yellow course and part of the white.

Leg felt good. Legs on the other hand felt tired. Injury is mostly better but now out of shape shows. Made a few little errors. Just don't have the flow back yet.
Near the end of the course. I stopped to help Lisa Beck who couldn't find the control.

Orienteering (Granite) 1:00:04 [3] 6.2 km (9:41 / km) +215m 8:15 / km
shoes: O: falcons 2011

Training with Eddie. A few long legs followed by a middle course legs in the technical area. It was raining. I couldn't see the map even with a magnifying glass. Fortunately I had hung the controls so knew where they were.
my Leg felt good. It was the first time I could actually run in the woods and jump over stuff.
I started before eddie as I had to hang the first few controls. I lost time confirming that i was where I was supposed to be.
I was able to hold eddie off and finished before him.

Orienteering (hanging controls) 1:30:00 [2] 2.25 mi (40:00 / mi)
shoes: O: falcons 2011

Traffic was horrible. I drove 1.5 hrs so I could hang streamers for tomorrow's training. I had to hang them so there would be confirmation that eddie was where he was supposed to be. I used a 1:5000 map so it was easier to read which helped a lot.
