Decided I should run 10K to prepare for Thursday 10k Turkey trot. I had been eating alot while away so was expecting bathroomitis and I slowed down to avoid problems.

run in the city. I don't know how people run in the city. There are too many stop lights. I had to stop every block and wait for the light (off the clock).
I decided to head north towards the mountains. What I didn't realize is that the mountains started sooner than I thought. The first mile was in traffic, then I left the downtown area and ran 1 mile up a very steep hill. It was slow going up the hill. When the road ended, I had a nice view of the city so I stopped and looked for awhile. Then an easy down hill run where I was worried about icy areas.
