Decided on long stumble even though I knew I couldn't run that distance. My plan was to keep even heart rate and whenever it got too high ease off.
I started off as a leader. That changed shortly down the trail. I eased off when cutting into the woods and let them go. I didn't want to burn out. I followed the crowd to the first control. Ran a bunch of controls off and on with Nadim. Eventually I just got too tired so it was time to slow way down and just prevent from getting cramps. From control 17 in I walked. I did get some leg and had to stop and stretch several times. Several people passed me as I walking. I was able to pass the others walking the short course.
Still a little tired for doing yardwork today. Fortunately we played an easier team so were able to win all three. We should have won by more but win is a win.
First Full Furlough Day. I took opportunity to get some chores done.
I vacuumed and shampooed the living room,
Planted plants,
Did Laundry,
Cut down old bushes,
Weeded the side and front of the house,
Cleaned some refridgerator shelves.
It was a very full day and I was tired by the time Darcy got home.
