Orienteering race 1:14:09 [3] 7.5 km (9:53 / km)
ahr:153 max:160 shoes: O: Icebuds 2012

Course was fine but the map needs some major revisions.
I got the meet and realized I had forgotten my O-pants. It has been a long time since I ran in shorts. fortunately there wasn't a lot of thorn so I didn't get too scratched up.

I took at least one less than optimum route intentionally to get some woods practice in.
I was very slow and felt out of shape.

another week, another volleyball loss. We played ok but were outclassed.

Soccer (indoor) 48:00 [4]
shoes: Soccer Indoor Nike 2013 Mercer

I went straight from Volleyball to Soccer.
We played a small but quick team. I had to step up my game. I played the whole game and did a good job. We won 5-2.

Orienteering (svo stumble) 3:49:32 [3] 15.2 mi (15:06 / mi)
ahr:124 max:161 shoes: O: Icebuds 2012

My plan was to take it easy the first 10K and walk the last 5 K. I was getting tired by the first loop but still felt pretty good. I spent several minutes refueling at the refreshment area. I had a power bar, a banana, bunch of Gatorade, and some cookies.
I got to the far part of the map when I cramped up. I looked at the course and figured that if I could get two more controls then it was the same distance back as quitting so I opted to go on. I got several more cramps but only one was really bad. I was glad I had my camelback. I think that made the difference.
Several people passed me as I walked slowly the last few close controls.
