Orienteering race (sprint) 19:14 [4] 2.4 km (8:01 / km)
shoes: 2015 Nike Accelerate 3

I didn't do well. My speed was good but I had too many hesitations and just plain bad route choices. I lost 2-3 minutes

Orienteering (U.S Champ Green) 1:16:31 [4] *** 6.6 km (11:36 / km) +355m 9:08 / km
spiked:12/13c shoes: O icebugs 2015

Climb was advertised as 355 m. My climb going mostly straight was 480m
That was way too much climb for me. I was so tired that I couldn't run later in the course. I had to stop and take breaks walking up the hill. I couldn't even keep moving at a walking pace.

Orienteering (green US mid champ) 28:14 [3] *** 3.5 km (8:04 / km) +175m 6:27 / km
spiked:14/16c shoes: O icebugs 2015

I treated the course like a long sprint. I was clean to all but 2 controls. Easy to read the contours and the controls were close together which made it easy.
Biggest difficulty was getting up the hills. I had to walk a lot more then I wanted to.

Rainy and windy outside so I went on the treadmill. My calf started twinging a little so I stopped after the first 1.25 mile, then walked some, then jogged some more, followed by some more walk.
