Event: QOC Jug Bay

8 AM

Orienteering (trail) 43:49 [2] 2.26 mi (19:23 / mi)

hanging the controls on the trails All the White controls). I saw three turtles on the trails. Everything all set for Jug Bay Event. With this time I would have one the white course.
Event seem to go ok. It was very hot and humid out which sapped peoples strength and will. Despite zillions of signs and talking before the event, it looks like some people still did the loops in wrong order or did the wrong loops. I know several people opted to just stop after one loop which given the heat was understandable.
We actually ran out of beer which I didn't think we have done for several years but maybe we did.
3 PM

Orienteering (control pickup) 47:12 [3] 2.27 mi (20:48 / mi)
shoes: O icebugs 2015

I picked up the far controls. I could have picked up 4 other as I ran by them on the way back in. I spent too much time in the sun standing. I was dehydrated and tired. My back pack was rubbing my neck which was sunburned.

Hanging controls at Jug Bay for Beer Chase. Everything looks good. The upland marshes are all dry. I did have some troubles as the streamers I hung before had been chewed down.
5 PM

walk 1:00:37 [1] 2.6 mi (23:19 / mi)

Walking with Darcy. We went up around the park.

Soccer (Indoor) 50:00 [5]
shoes: Soccer Indoor Nike 2013 Mercer

The other team didn't show so we split in two played 4 on 4 (no goalies). It was a matter of who could run most. By the end there were not many people running. I was still running but very, very tired.
My neck was still sore. Early in the game I tweaked my back also. Fortunately both relaxed as the game went on.
I one point I went to make move and jump over someone. I almost cramped. I was very careful made sure to not do any more sudden jerks the rest of the game.
I did survive and didn't pull anything else this week.
