Orienteering (sprint) 17:43 [2] 1.1 km (16:06 / km)
shoes: O icebugs 2015

Down hill sprint in a very technical area. It was more like a short middle distance.
My right leg hasn't healed so it is hard to run. I opted for the short sprint rather than the long one. It was a long walk to the start and all uphill. This really bothered my knee.
For the actual sprint, I had a blast. I wasn't running but that was probably good. It was so hard to read things. I started off slow and stayed that way. I got pulled off line once by seeing a control not on my course. Other than that I was fairly clean, but very hesitant and slow. There was one map problem that the control circle was so cut that you couldn't see it. I went from #5 to #7. Then had to go back to 6.
I wish we had some of this terrain back home.

Volleyball (indoor) 1:00:00 [1]
shoes: VB : hyperdunk low

I am still sore from earlier events. Knee bothering me so I could put weight on it well. I wasn't very mobile. I played ok but could have done better.
We played well for part of the 2nd game then fell apart. We lost all three games as usual.

Soccer (outdoor) 1:20:00 [4]
shoes: Soccer Indoor Nike 2013 Mercer

I was still tired from the stumble. I ran hard the first half. We played well, especially the first half. We ended up tieing 2-2. Our first non-loss. Unfortunately by the end I couldn't run and the other team ran by to score the tieing goal.

Orienteering (stumble) 2:52:50 [3] 14.5 km (11:55 / km) +430m 10:23 / km
shoes: O icebugs 2015

I was still tired and little sore from yesterday. My plan was to run easy the first 4-5 miles, then walk the last part. That is what I did.

I wasn't moving fast but I think my route choices kept me in the game the first part. People would pull away from me but I would catch them by taking a better route. The first part had a lot of route choices. The 2nd part didn't have much.
