Run race (turkey trot road) 50:51 [4] 10.0 km (5:05 / km)
shoes: Run: Asics Gel Yayano 24

Annual Turkey Trot 10K. I am out of shape so I was just trying to survive. I wanted to start at the front of a start wave but instead we went at the back of a wave. This meant I had to do a lot of weaving in the first mile. I went out easy but since it was down hill it was fast. Since I was not pushing it I was ok with the pace. 2nd mile I slowed down. At mile three I got a side ache so couldn't run hard even if my legs would have let me. I slowed down and tried to just keep moving. I did finish without stopping or walking but was not very fast the last couple of miles. Overall, I finished so I was happy.
Post race, Oh my muscles hurt. I was so tired and sore.

I started off ok then had to slow down. I had planned to go 4 but it was too hard. I could feel it in my knee but had to stop when my left calf started twinging.
