Volleyball (indoor) 45:00 [1]

First game of the season. My team was moved up to the top division and we played one of the better teams. We had one new player which helped out.
I played ok. Position wise I was moved back to the middle (i played outside hitter last season). This allows me to block more and puts more height in the front line. Unfortunately, same problem as before when I played the top division, the setters can't set middle hitters so I don't get to hit much.

We play indoors but with no AC. It was very humid and there was no air flow. I was drenched in sweat which is tough when playing volleyball.

3rd game of the season. It was humid but much cooler than last week. We were playing against a full team this week. We got off to a good start and managed to win. We got sloppy for a while but managed to hold on. We suffered two injuries (leg cramps). We won 6-4.
My big play was when I kicked the ball over the fence. The field is on platform with very large fences to keep it from rolling into the fields (or the highway on one side). Fortunately after the game I was able to get the ball. There were a lot of thorns but it was in an easily accessible area.

Biked for 30 minutes. Back is still sore but getting better. Raining outside so I rode the bike instead of getting wet for a slow run.

Still cooling down and decided to walk the treadmill which turned into a very easy jog. Back felt ok.
