Went for long walk with Darcy. I wanted to check out the Lake Artemisia area in Greenbelt and walk the paint branch trail. Determined it is too vague/flat and uninteresting to use for anything other than a summer series. I will remove it from the greenbelt map and keep it separate. Darcy wanted to show me the old tornado area where She and Heidi Onkst walked long ago. They had built a new walkway across the large marshy area. It was a nice viewing area. We saw several large turkey vultures.

Mapping at Oregon Ridge. Spent most of the time mapping the green areas where they harvested the forest. Had to reroute my proposed courses to avoid it. Parts just too green.

Did get most of what I wanted to map done before my computer battery died.

Home later than I wanted but warm out so went for a run. Rt 175 + Severn Road. Lots of people out walking so I had to do a lot of weaving to avoid people.

mapping a little more at happy land. Green area, ick. Lost my compass. I need to stop mapping down there. Last time I lost my GPS.

I did ok. I screwed up one control where I just was way off. Not sure how I got so far off but I corrected. One other control I was drawn off by some posts in the ground that I though represented a ruin so adjusted my route but the post were not on the map.
I was plenty tired by the end. My cardio is down. I just didn't have pep to my run and wasn't able to bound over the debris.
