2nd Blue course and I survived again. I guess this means I am getting back into shape, little by little.

Blue Course at Little Bennett. Course was less green than last year but still fair amount of thorns in some places. Fair amount of trail run (lot of trails in the area and couldn't be avoided).
Navigation was ok but at two points I was off.

#2: I cut up the hill which was covered in Mountain laurel and didn't see the cliff or control. I was hesitant but just kept climbing until I could see the trail then came back down. Control was further south then I expected and looked to be further from the reentrant.

#3: I was going to cross the stream at the bottom of the road but the crossing wasn't good, so I decided to run further upstream. Finally just had to wade across the stream.

#7: There were a lot more thorns along the north side of the stream than advertised. i was slow going and hesitant as I didn't want to miss the control. I finally crossed the stream and shortly after could see the the control It was in a wide open area.

#8: The field was in heavy use by scouts. I ran around the edge trying to stay out of their way.

#11: My intent was to go straight but when I hit the trail, I decided I was tired of hills so took the trail around.

#13: I was running along and got further off track than intended and had to wonder, how did I get over here. I Saw Jonas even further off track. I corrected and went to the trail and was lower than expected so lost time trying to figure where I was. Jonas got there just in front of me.

#14: long trail run down hill. I wanted to get ahead of Jonas so went barreling down the hill and across the bridge, down the trail and cut into the woods. I left Jonas way behind. I climbed the edge of the reentrant into the cliffs but didn't see any control. Control Description was middle cliff but no control there. I turned around and then saw the control on the other side of the reentrant. Apparently in my haste I ran up the wrong side.

Looking at possible map changes identified by vetters. Didn't get them all done as I was carpooling with a vetter so had to scurry back so they could get home. about 1/2 the changes identified were valid.
The last 15 minutes were me running back to the car so I wasn't late.
