runners course. I expected more navigation in the rocky areas. Given how easy it was, I tried to just keep running but still had to walk some of the uphills Just to catch my breath.
#1: straight, left around the rocky hill.
#2: Straight, Across yellow field, left around the rocky hill. dropped into the clearing. Dropped to low on the field and had to climb back up to the control.
#3: Straight
#4: I started straight but was having tough time going along side of hill with rock. I then went up the hill and ran along the top. There appeared to be an extra re-entrant just before the control. I paused in this reentrant before going on.
#5: right of line to get into the big field. Just run along until fence bend. Continue along field right of first hill, left of rocky area where control was. Did take a bit to interpret what was what here but I knew I was in the correct spot.
#6: More of less straight.
#7: up reentrant to the field. Along field edge. when still far, far, away, I picked the spur out that I wanted to run up. I could see Amber in her bright orange shirt up there.
#8: Slightly right of line. Passed the aspen, then used the big boulder as the attack point
#9: I popped right into the rough open. It was slow going initially but got better farther down. Crossed creek and cut corner to large field. Up edge of field to control. amber just ahead of me.
#10: Run through fields. Gimme control.
#11: along rough open, crossed trail and angled up. just kept going. Eventually cut up to the high ground. I was originally looking for a re-entrant so hesitated on the final approach.
#12: Another long field run. past small aspen. left of twin boulders. past large aspen. Right of hill, across reentrant. I mis-interpreted the knolls up just before the control so approach from the west rather than the north.
#13: Just keep running and heading down hill to the trail. Trail to control.
