Running 49:00 [2]

Freedom Park. Anza Borrego did miracles to my knee. I didn't feel anything. The uneven desert ground seemed to have strengthened my muscles quite a bit...

Orienteering race 1:07:00 [5]

30s at #4 (couldn't see the control behind the bush), 2 minutes at at #5 (should have known that I was way too low). Kicked a Cholla again before #13, followed immediately by a kick into a rock with the same foot. Totally lost all concentration there again, but fortunately I got some help to find the control there...

Orienteering race 1:05:00 [5]

Anza Borrego A meet. First short blackout at #6 -> 2 minutes. Then kicked a Cholla before #12. Had to sit down, trying to operate it out of my foot. Didn't work, so I kept limping around, but totally lost control of what I was doing. Surprisingly only 4 minutes lost... It took them 10 minutes to operate the 1cm long cactus needle out of my toe at first aid...
What a shame. I should have used all my "home field advantage" at this meet... At least, I didn't feel my knee during the whole race.

Running 49:00 [2]

Freedom Park. Pain in my knee again after 30 minutes. I don't know how I'm going to survive San Diego, I just hope I'm going to be better for the Georgia Navigator Cup. Otherwise, I'm not sure who is going to do my job there...
