Run 1: Half Mar trail race. For this distance, I think you want to do a fairly short warmup and just like for your workouts, try to do so right before the start. 5:00 - 10:00 easy flat jogging plus a few gradual strides.
Felt good throughout. Did a little walking up some hills towards the end but with 33 degrees start and probably 50 degree finish, along with sunny skies and nice forest and fields, the race was a lot of fun.
