| an unplaned rest day. oh no!! We were suposed to have track today but we got sent to the boys basketball game instead. this is totally throwing me off and it ended at almost 7pm. I didn't get a workout in and i don't have as much time as i need to do hw. hopefully i can start the second cycle of wyatts training tomorrow. | ||

| went skiing at blue mountain with my mom and some people she works with. It was a lot of fun!!! I think i'm getting better and I mustered up enough curage to go down a double black diamond which was better than last week. left knee hurt a little bit at the end, when i took of my ski boot and snow pants i found out why. My knee is a black and blue and scratched up from my fall in the creek yesterday. I didn't actually think i fell that hard but oh well. It was a fun day with my mom! | ||

| hung flags with Sandy again for a training event. Eric W. also hung which was nice, ment we only had to do half, so less time and we didn't know where the other ones were already. Hanging them was interesting as I didn't change into my cliets which i should have, so i was sliding all over the snowy-ice. trying to get up the berm at the end took forever lol. But we did a lot better this time we got all the controls in the right place and had a little time to spare! | ||

| the time is a total guess from trying to remember what time I left and came back. I did ok I guess. Went really slow to the fist one. Didn't go far enough to the 4th one. went swiming in a creeck on the way to number 5 (now have a big bruse on my leg from that. i didn't think i fell that hard) problems with 10, went all the way around the pond in the end. and then over ran 11. Ok so i guess i did have a kinda crappy run, but it was good just to get out on a map and run.

| went to my mom's gym and took a group row class with her. Only thing is we were the only two people there so we got the instructer Tucker all to our selfs which was cool. This i think was my mom's first time on an erg so we went easy, which was good as i have not erged since the fall.
before the class started my mom and I erg ~1000 meters so that I could teach her how to do it. then with Tucker we did two pryaimids incresing the spead slowly. It was a great workout and i hope my mom will take me again! | ||

| ok so today my training scheduale called for a really long run. sadly i didn't get to do that. I could make some excuses like; it was because my legs hurt from skiing yesterday(knee was hurting a bit i hope that doesn't mean anything), or i don't have anyone to run with. But that does do any good, it was my fault for not pushing myself to find a way. So becuase this week got all messed up becuase of the snow i'm not going to take next week totally off like wyatt had planed for me and susan. Tomorrow i hope to go to this group row class with my mom at her gym, then i hope to have track both times. also i guess i need to do more strength work to train for my outward bound course this summer. Doing a backpacking and rock climbing two week course in NC kinda near where the interscholastics were last year. SO EXCITED!! | ||

| SLA SKI TRIP!!!
I went skiing at blue mountain with my school today, it was a lot of fun!!! 10 of us went and two teachers. I actually spent most of my time skiing with my awsome science teacher mr Sherif. He took me down my first black diamond! i was so happy after i finished it, but i was so scared going down. we ended up doing to the midway and then the chute. the chute is deffinetly harder!!!! It was such a nice day and the slops were great after all the snow we got! over all a very nice day, but my legs are so going to hurt tomorrow!!!! | ||

| SNOW DAY!!!!!
first thing i did was went out and ran around taking photos in the snow. then i shoveled a little bit. went for about a half mile walk or so with my neighbor down by the river (which was partly frozen for the first time in a while) and took more photos. then in the afternoon we went sleiding for about 2hrs behind the art museam. was a great and much needed snow day! and happy valentines day!!! | ||

| Hung controls with sandy for DVOA's training event today. Went around the short course backwards to hang them. We had a few little problems and hung one control on the wrong platform. But oh well it was still very good training. | ||

| went to go pick up 8 and 9 so i could walk that leg again. However we found out that we hung the control on a different platform than we thought we did. Knowing that when i walked that leg it all made a lot more sense and i did it fine.

| started out doing 2 laps around our 5th floor in 1 min and the extra time we had was our break. then a little bit into it i switched to 4 laps in 2 mins with one of the guys. we did that for the rest of the time. worked a lot on form. i need to start leangthing my strid and relaxing my arms. Over all very good practise and i was starting to have negative splits. | ||
