| ok so my plan kinda worked today YAY!!!!!
i got up at 7:20, put on one of Snow Patrols CDs and did 2 sets of 50 situps (with a 30sec break) to the first song. I was at about 42 on the second set when the song ended so goal is to get it that i finish in one song. It was harder this time than last, but i think i was doing them faster. | ||

| OK so i got some training from Alexie the other day and had time (and motivation) today to go out for a run so i could do one part of it. This part was an exercise where you take a course and you have to find out where or not #1 is higher or lower than the start, #2 higher or lower than #1 and so forth. Well i have done this before but it was a relay and when we were actually looking at the map we weren't running. This time Alexie wanted me to do this while running. let me tell you MUCH HARDER!!!! i ended up running pretty slowly while trying to figure it out and do math in my head. was quite thankful i had also brought along a sharpie to write my answers on the map bag so i remembered them in order to e-mail him the answers. I got some weird looks from other people on the path as well lol. but good exercise! thank god for the fat contours!!! (can't remember their proper name right now.) | ||

| decided to not stick to my original plan of running out for half of the controls and back for the second half. Decided it was such a nice day out (warmish, sunny, a little windy though and i had time) that i was going to go for a nice long easy run. Ended up picking the Kelly statue at the end of the grand stands to run to. It was extremely quite out! there weren't many cars, no body out on the water. It was nice, let me get out some energy and just let my mind go and destress a little bit. felt really slow though!!! and the wind was blowing in my face on the way back which was a bit annoying. over all however a very enjoyable run and i'm glad my two teachers when i said i was thinking of going for a run kept saying "Do it!!! Do it!!! Go!!! such a nice day!!!" so thank you chase and kay i needed the kick in the butt! | ||

| legs started cramping up by the end of my run so decided to slow down and then walk from the train tracks back to the house. Right cave really started cramming. From not stretching enough? no water during the day? no lunch? (as it was a half day so went for a run around 1:30ish after i got out) | ||

oh and got yelled at by my mom about not telling her i had gone for a run even though; i told her this morning that i was thinking of going for a run after school and she said fine just do it right after so we could go to the chiropractor @4, which is what i did, and i left a note on the counter saying that i had gone for a run and that my cell had died so it was charging upstairs (so she knew i didn't have it on me) once she saw that i did actually leave a note she stopped though and sad sorry. She had even called school and asked if i was there. Oh and i had e-mailed dad saying i need a map printed and that i was going for a run. so yeah that was interesting. | ||

Haven't really stretched in a while so was quite tight, so felt good. I'm hopping to get to stretch more often as i think it would just help me over all. | ||

Maybe that was becuase i took a longer break in between? or that i need to do a harder situp? right now i do it arms out in front of me which i have been told is the easiest way to do it maybe i need to move to hands behind my head... | ||

| So i'm going to try and start stretching every morning and hopfully maybe some strength stuff.
My plan is my cell phone alarm is set for 6:30 so i'm going to try and start getting myself to wake up on my own a little earlier than i have been and maybe eventually wake up and out of bed around 7 each day (i like the snooze button :) right now i get out of bed at like 7:30) and that way i have 30mins before i really have to start getting ready for school. So now i just have to do this and figure out what the most effective things would be to do in that time. | ||

| Went skiing at Blue Mountain today with the family and a client from my parents office and their family. Was a lot of fun!! did one black diamond again so that was cool and it was easier than last year i think. Was quite sunny out so you actually got hot! oh and i've got that like sunglasses burn starting hehe... forgot sun screen, ops! | ||

| Was super tired from the weekend so slept quite a bit and didn't get up until late. Then spent the day messaging everyone about the weekend and looking at photos. I'm very sad that the weekend is over :( I always hate coming back from meets because i miss everyone so much and then people at school seam very annoying to me. Any one else feel that way?
Along with messaging and photo looking i did boris' training #12. Some of the controls were really hard and took me a while to figure out but some how ended up getting them all right. Maybe i should have put a time limit on picking? they are going to post some more so i'll try that when they do. | ||

| Well Track was canceled today cus it was way to cold out and we didn't have anything we could do inside as our coaches didn't want us running the halls as it is bad for our knees. And the weight room was taken by the hip hop group. Oh well... :( i will have to find some other way to train before IS then. Was looking at the maps that Kat just sent out, wow those are some long legs! Not sure how i would run some of them. | ||

| Took my sister to a silly middle school basketball game at her school. I then got board and she didn't want me around so walked to the book store and then around the book store looking for any good books, didn't find any this time which is a first.
So not that great of training but with hitting my knee earlier this week and having it bug me i thought i would let it rest and just run on monday with my team so as not to but hurt for the interschoolastics. | ||

| Ran around the Franklin Institute (our science museum) yesterday afternoon looking for 4 freshman that were missing and not in their group. that was interesting, turned out two were actually in their group, but two had skipped.
So this wasn't really training, but running around a museum is hard on the knees lol. | ||

| So our two main coaches were both gone today so our third coach ran practice.
We stretched for 5 mins with him leading. I so would not have called that a stretch at all!! we held the stretches for like 5 seconds twice. I need more of a stretch, i don't know about anyone else though. Then we ran around the 2nd floor for 5 mins as part of a warm up. Don't really understand why though as then we jogged over to the path which was like 2 mins and is our normal warm up. | ||

| So we were supposed to run out for 16 mins and then back in 14. the first like 8 mins we did the Indian drill as a group then people kinda broke up and just ran. I think we surprised our coach as to how far we can run in 30ish mins and that we could even keep up a good pace for that long (he is a sprinter and well us oers i think might call a bit of a sissy) On the way back we were really pushing it i would have called it almost a 4 but more of the run was a 3 so left it at 3.
knee hardly bugged me, a little bit at the end and it was more both knees so that was a little weird but not enough that i felt like i had to slow down or stop so that was good. | ||

| Walked to my friend from my middle school house. I haven't seen her in ages so it was a bit weird that she called out of the blue but it was nice to see her. Helped her pack up her room as she is moving tomorrow. Then walked back home carrying a bunch of scrap booking stuff she didn't want anymore thought maybe mom or school could use.
Beautiful day out!!!!! wish i could have gone for a long bike ride. | ||

| Well planed on doing some more training like DDR or strength but ended up going through the box that i have been storing my maps in and ended up trying to put them in my binder. I found so many maps of like white and yellow that i have no recollection of ever running, as well as a few others. But got most of my 2007 maps in the binder which was good! hopefully will finish some other time. My goal is to put my 2008 maps right in my binder and not in a box where it will take me forever to put in my binder and then forget them. | ||

| Finally i got to go rock climbing with my friend Mario at the place he works in NJ. The whole family went so heather and i went climbing and tried some bouldering. Bouldering is hard! Deff need some more upper body strength to get any better.

| Well our Track team is hard core (not really but we like to think it) and we went running in the pouring rain today. It was a lot of fun! Ms G brought her dog Penny, so we were running a little faster than i think we would have which is good. Felt a lot harder than it should have. However my knee hardly bugged me (knocks on wood) Running in the rain is awesome! i got soo wet.
17:09-out 16:39-back so nice way i think to start the month off! ice of a while when i got back to school. | ||
