did the loop with my dad and heather. went supper slow becuase heather can't go very fast. kinda annoying. shins started to hurt by the end have to ice them again.

last middle school track meet

ran the mile in 6:51, 10 seconds longer than my PR. it was a great race though i had to do a lot of thinking. there also was a lot of passing going on and we were all really close together. i endded up coming in 3rd but i was not that far off 1st.

oh also did the long jump- 10.8

day 2 of the Interscholastics.
well didn't have as good of a run as yesturday. made one really big mistake that costed me. controls number 5 i turned right on one path to early but thankfully figuerd it out not that long after i had made it like a minute or so after. then i was just slow. need to work on speed. anyway came in i think 3rd today but 2nd over all.

day 1 of the interscholastics:
was nerves when i got to the start becuase it had been awail since my last a-meet. but once i got to the first control very easly i was good. I had the best run i have ever had. I didn't make any mistakes, hit all the controls almost right on, and flowed though every control. I have never been able to not stop at a control and look at my map before and this time i didn't stop at any of them. I was so happy! well that is until i came into the finish and found out that i was in 2nd and only behind by 6 seconds.

Did the model event with matej, anna, holly, tori, catherin, and jennifer. It was so much fun!!! I learnt so much!! And it was great to see them all again and to meet holly again and meet tori catherin and jennifer for the first time!

was super hot!! i ran the mile and long jump. droped the 800m becuase i hurt to much last time and i have the interscholastics this weekend

went for a run with my dad, Uncle, and Aunt. ran to the faries and back. still feel sore from thursdays track meet. felt very slow today.

Second track meet: CHA, Springside, and TPS

did the 800m, 1600m, and long jump again. felt a lot slower then I was on monday. did a lap to warm up and streached.

800m- ___
1600m- 7:52 (22 seconds slower then on monday not to happy about that)
Long Jump- 10' 8.5"

legs hurt from yesturdays track meet. felt slow and it was really hot.

got there and streached and ran a lap to see what the track was like. ran 800m, 1600m and did long jump.

800m - 3:18.2
1600m - 7:30.6
long jump- 10' 5"

ran with meg up to the rock:10:55 mins
streched some more then ran to behind PAM: 7:10

did 4 laps starting at the bottom of the hill. ran up hill, up steps, down steps, and down the hill on the other side of path.

ran to penn track to see what a track looks like (we don't have a track at school so all the 6th graders has no idea what one looked like) then we ran up lombard to 40th street turned right to locast then ran down walnut until the path got on the path and ran to taney park. at taney we did 4 strides and then went back to school.
