stretching warm up/down (and strangth) 30:00 [1]
Did 5 warm up laps. then stretched. after we did a team strangth work out. push ups, jumpies, and sculs (type of sit-up)

Ran with track team. was only suposed to run to the 3/4 mile marker but ran to the 1 mile marker instead. legs hurt from the strangth stuff we did before the run.

10.47- school to lloyd hall
10.01- lloyd hall to 1 mile marker
10.15- 1 mile marker back to lloyd hall
10.58- lloyd hall to 2 blocks from school
1.57 - walked last two blocks to school as a cool down.

felt really slow!!!!! however times don't seam to be that much slower so i'm not sure what is up with that. Maybe it is because my legs hurt slow i felt like i was going slower.

got up at like 5:30 to go running with my dad. it was really weird to go running before the sun was up. Philly is so different before eveyone is awake. We ran down the parkway and you could hear birds. I had no idea birds woke up before the sun came up. And there were no cars on the roads i have never seen that little traffic other than when it snows. It was a really peacfull run, and i can now see why my dad likes to get up so early to run. it was funny my dad runs in the morning a lot so there is the group of people he calls "the Regulars" and i thought that all "the Regulars" were like runners like him or even more hard core runners. however one of "the Regulars" i found out today is an old man who my dad says walks about 4 or 5 miles every morning. I thought that was cool. Maybe some day i'll be able to call myself a "regular" however it isn't going to be happening to fast.

time to and from lloyd hall are getting fater that is cool.

Ok two days down!!! Tomorrow is going to be a hard one though. Will either have to get up early (ewww) and run before school or go right after newspaper. I don't think i'm going to stick to the XC training thing tomorrow because it calls for a 60 min run and i just won't have time. Maybe i'll do an intervel run instead because they don't have one on the schedule and i'll have time to do that.

well did the second run on the XC training list. 30-40 min run. so i desided to do a 4 mile run. felt pretty good but by the end i had to keep telling myself that i wasn't going to walk (no dad on the way back to push me) I think i also start out a little to fast. i have never run to lloyd hall this fast ever i don't think. felt good after the run though.

Note
Ok starting today i'm going to really start to train!! It is going to take a lot but i'm determind to do it. I got my friends XC training schedual and so i'm going to try and stick to that. It seams like it is really going to challenge me. but i think the biggest challenge will be just getting out (espeshally for around 60 mins on mondays) But I want to prove my friend worng (he thinks i won't be able to do more than about 2 days) and become a better runner. Now i just hope i really can do this!

went for a long run with my dad today. was determind to get to the kelly statue because i knew i could run to there from lloyd hall, so only two more miles. I felt so slow, like one big slow blob. But i guess that was mostly because i'm not used to running this far on kelly drive, and i got some really bad cramps. oh and my dad desided to throw a hill in right at the begining and i wasn't planing on that.

ran the 4 mile section for one my dads work relay teams. It was a lot of fun!!!! my team was about 3-4 mins behind the other two after the first part. I managed to catch up to the other two runners though so that was cool. and i didn't feel to bad once i got going but i was gald i was only running around 4 miles.

had our last rowing get together. rowed up and down a small part of the river so our parents could watch. then came back and singed shirts and eat some really good cupcakes!!

had an ok run. messed up 2 to 3. ran down a trail the wrong way becuase i thought i was on a different trail. thankfully i figured out what i had done fast and it didn't cost me much more than 2 or 3 mins. just could not run fast enough. I think what i really need is someone to help me come up with a training scheduel so i have something to fallow.

walked from the parking lot to the finish because cerie, meg and i didn't feel like waiting for the bus. BAD IDEA!!!! we forgot how far it was and the buses passed us like 4 times. we run about half of it trying to beat the bus to the start so it could bring us to the finish. oh well it was exersize.
Note
I just relised that I beat all but one guy. All the other M-16s were about 10 mins behind me. and they were laughing at me yesrturday for being slow. I wish I could have seen there faces when they found out I beat them today.

warmed up with Anna in the warm up area for about 7 mins. Then relised that I had to get to the start for my start time. I was glad I did go with her though because she pointed this out as we were running and that really helped me read the map and terrain on my course.

Jogged to the start so I didn't miss my start time, was a lot further than I thought it was going to be. streached a bit when I got there and then started.

had a clean run. a little hesitent on a few controls and my flow was horrible!!! but over all pretty happy. Found out that i really need to be running more than i do (already knew that but this was an example why) i felt really slow on some of the trail legs.

ran around the parking lot, ran into anna who was going to the start. so i jogged with her a bit for my cool down then we endded up walking and talking about school. when we got to the finish i did a little bit of streching (should have done more)
Note
All the juniors went to dinner together at the silver plate diner. It was fun and the food was pretty good. after we all went bowling. that was a lot of fun even though i couldn't bowl at all. noramly I can at lest get like 100, my high score for the night was 52. John was really good, so was jason and anna. Jason got so many strikes it was unblievable . And anna go the shoot of the night, a grany shoot backwards to get a strike.

Note
well had the day off. planed to go for a run then found out that i had to go and get the chicken pox shot becuase there was an out break at my sisters school. So ended up not going for a run however walked around town so got some exersize but not the kind i can log.

TNT- 1 year birthday speacial saturday run.

Sandy,Clem, Dasha, Jim, Sandy, Karl, Anne, Wyatt, Tom, Me and my Dad all ran. Randy came but didn't run. We all ran differnet amounts on the drive. I ran with Wyatt the whole time and I think we did about 4 miles on the drive. I felt like I was moving a little faster than normal but it didn't feel any harder. Wyatt and I tried to come up with some ways I can start training more, so i hope I can start doing some of what we talked about.

Came back for dinner. It was great!!! everyone brought food. Tom made some really good soup. Sandy made the pancakes that she made at the first TNT. and we talked. A lot of fun!!!

oh yeah so the time is a little off my watch is being weird again. can't wait until my birthday to get a new one.
