worked most of yesutrday on the courses dad is having me make. we then sat down last night and looked over them. my white wasn't long enough, yellow my dad said i picked some weird controls so i have to have back up. and the orange we desided we are going to do together. this course designing thing is really hard!!!!

finally got out for a run with my mom. ran with her for the first mile at a slow warm up pace. felt pretty good then. picked it up at lloyd hall and ran up to columbia bridge and back. felt like crap after the first half mile, and started to get a blister on my right foot. desided to keep trying though. since i didn't have anyone running with my a run against the clock to keep myself going. my goal when i set out was to do 3 miles at under a 10min mile. i think i did ok, but it could use a lot of work!!!

was actually very proud at the end that i hit my goal. when i started out i didn't actually think i would make it.

TNT- ran with sandy tonight. warm up from her house to the drive (8 mins.) then 2.5 out (23:36) and 2.5 back (24.13) we did intervels in the middle of our drive run. they felt ok got tired at the end. and then a cool down walk back up to her house (15:28)

was a good workout need to do more speed trainning. anyone have any good workouts that helps with speed?

well i think it took me around 50 mins. 50 mins of totally waste becuase i forgot to punch #10. How could i have been so stupid?!?!?!? i can't believe i did that!!! and i had a pretty good run all the way up to then. over ran a few things, ran off the map going to #5 and not so sure i had the best routes to a few. so i guess over all if i had actually slowed down a bit and was a bit more focased at the end i would have done eh ok.

not quite sure how i can make sure i don't do that again. but right now i really want to run another orange and complet it just to get my confidance back up and prove to myself that i can do an orange.

walked to camp with mom and ellie. had to go the long way becuase there was a train.

ran to the grand stands and back. had to wait once we got to the grand stands for every one else but still a good work out.

did a 1000 meters for some relay race we were doing, then my team desided that i should do that last 500 meters so did that. then i had to do my 2k test which i did in 9:41. not as fast as last time sadly. but died when i got off. MAJOR cramps in my legs. had to walk around for about 10 mins before they went away.

went to TNT finally!!!! sadly my time how ever is a guess (it is pretty close to it though) becuase my watch acted up and will only give me half my splits and not my whole time.

the run was great!!! i ran with anne the whole time and dasha for part of the time. witch was great because they really pushed me. i was going to do just 4 miles on the drive but then they were doing 5 so i desided to stick with them. they had to pull me along a bit on the way back but i made it. when they were pulling me the last bit we were going super fast to!!!

so thank you to anne and dasha for helping me train it was a lot of fun!!! and anne the food was great!! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (early) SANDY!!

took zoe and aedhan to the pool today. babysat them for 9 hrs instead of going to rowing camp. it was just the swim test today anyway and i swam more then i would have at camp today so it all worked out.

walked/ran after the two boys staying with us. we went down and walked along the wissahickon. was a great day, and really wish i had brought my running stuff it would have been a great run!!! maybe tuesday.

took the two boys that are staying with us to the franklin instuite. then went to the movies with my friends steve and mike. saw pirates of the carrabian it was good. then babysat tonight.

played ultimate soccer (like ultimate frizbee but wiht a soccer ball) and vollyball in the gym wail the guys were out rowing. then played vollyball with the guys after lunch.

Tuesday Aug 1

rowed up to temple boat house in the quad then rowed back in the 8. had about a 5 min breack and then rowed in the 8 up to gerard bridge. was super hot the second time out!!

babysat at the pool today. was a nice way to cool off after rowing. and i'm making money (which is all going in the bank) so it is all good.
