Sunday Feb 4

walked around town and did some shopping with my friend. shouldn't really count but we were walking faster than normal because it was cold. and i got a bunch of books that were heavy.

right hip hurt a little bit at first and not really sure why.

Saturday Feb 3

Hung controls with sandy for DVOA's training event today. Went around the short course backwards to hang them. We had a few little problems and hung one control on the wrong platform. But oh well it was still very good training.

Ran the short course the right way around mostly for speed and acuracey. did pretty well still missed up 8 to 9 which we messed up while hanging it.

went to go pick up 8 and 9 so i could walk that leg again. However we found out that we hung the control on a different platform than we thought we did. Knowing that when i walked that leg it all made a lot more sense and i did it fine.

started out doing 2 laps around our 5th floor in 1 min and the extra time we had was our break. then a little bit into it i switched to 4 laps in 2 mins with one of the guys. we did that for the rest of the time. worked a lot on form. i need to start leangthing my strid and relaxing my arms. Over all very good practise and i was starting to have negative splits.

ok not good i only did half of what i was suposed to do. However my article for liberty sports on orienteering sounds great and is sent in so that is the more important thing (i think?)
