| walked to lloyd hall to what we thought was goign to be a race. turns out the lady for the school district was wrong there was no race. It was some kick off event for "students run philly style" which is some programe for kids to get them running and some of them training to run the broad st run (10 miles) we could have done it but we desided that we wanted to run more than a mile today so we didn't. | ||

| desided to run up to St Joes' boat house and back (4.5 miles) tried working on lengthening my stride. that worked for about the first 3 miles then my knee started hurting. first the back of it, then the outside of my left knee. Not really sure what I did but it hurts. It might have been from my fall in the iced over creek, as I still have a big bruse from that and right in the place that it hurts. Or it could be my shoes, as I have done 260 miles on them and i'm starting to feel every little thing.
I was wanting to run this in 36 or 37 mins but knee hurt to much. 7:45 8:36 9:15 9:55- knee really hurt 4:39 | ||

| walked home as a cool down. it was such a nice day out! glad i got out.
knee still hurts so not sure if i'm going to walk the loop with my mom tomorrow or not i'll see how it feels in the morning. | ||

| NICE DAY!!!!! half day and great weather. have a race tomorrow so I wasn't supposed to do that much but really wanted to get out and do something since it was so nice out. So I went for a walk with my mom and ellie (my dog) just to strectch my legs. Ran about a mile in the middle though so got a little bit of a run in. Worked on lengthening my stride though and not so much speed. | ||

3 lap warm up stretching 3 sets of 30 jumpies, 20 skuls, and 10 push ups (i had to do real ones today as it hurt my burse on my knee if i did girl ones) | ||

| Did drills today but only did the ones that were for distance so we could get ready for our race on saturday. so did jumping for distance (which i can't do) butts kicks, high knees, running on toes forwards and backwards, and this weird arm one.
then we talked about the race and what our coach wanted us to do. He wants me to run the 5k in 25 mins or under. not so sure i can do that but i'll try! | ||

| met up with my friend lexi and went for a short run with her. we ran the streets to the art mueseam and then back along the path. she was only going to run for about 25 mins. so after she hit 25 mins we stopped and stretched and talked for a bit as i haven't seen her in a while and then i ran back home.
not sure how far it was. | ||

| an unplaned rest day. oh no!! We were suposed to have track today but we got sent to the boys basketball game instead. this is totally throwing me off and it ended at almost 7pm. I didn't get a workout in and i don't have as much time as i need to do hw. hopefully i can start the second cycle of wyatts training tomorrow. | ||
