| went on a L.L Bean kayaking class in NJ. It was a lot of fun! they drove you from the store to this lake where you got instructions and everything you need. Then you get on the lake and try out all the strokes they just taught you. After you go on a longish paddle around. We saw a ton of turtles and went down this small narrow stream which was a lot of fun! one on the instructors was from main and actually used to be an outward bound instructor. That was really cool cus i got to talk to him about it before i go on mine. WHICH BY THE WAY I CAN"T WAIT FOR!!!! i'm so excited!!!
anyway a great workout and a lot of fun, would totally do it again! and it was only $15 dollars a person for 2 1/2 hrs. |

| Wyatt i just saw your comment. The answer is i haven't been doing any training that isn't on here. Which is sad as there isn't much on here. However i have been doing some map training with Alexie (been really bad and it is taking me forever to do the ones from the team trails though) and i really think that is helping a lot! I felt much more confident on the Hibernia course and didn't make that many mistakes. A few bad route chooses and trouble close to the control but other than that i didn't have any mistakes.
however once school ends i hope that everyone will see a lot more training on here! Not between june 22nd and july 5th though as i'll be at outward bound (will post that training when i get back!) but after that. |
