Friday Mar 7

Note
slept:6.2
Ok so stayed up until 1am trying to finish work, brain died at that point so went to bed. Got up at like 7:10 to attempt to get more work done (didn't really happen) went to school and that was painful!!! i think everything that could have gone wrong today did or everything that needed to get done very little of it actually got done. And then there was a whole like social thing that went on. I'm really not enjoying high school at the moment!!! very much looking forward to going to Uni!!
So then a hard track practice and now i should be finishing up the work that was due today but i'm writing this instead.

running intervals 33:18 [3] 3.5 mi (9:31 / mi)
shoes: Saucony
Hard track practice as i was beat from a hard school day, and it was raining (by the end quite hard)

we did intervals were we would run 1min at 400m pace, 2 min jog, 1 min 800m pace, 2min jog, 1 min 1600m pace, 2 min jog, 1 min 3200m pace, then mile jog in between before doing that all again on the way back. Then we had to sprint as fast as we could the last like 200m. I finished, walked like 5 steps and layed down on the path (which of course was a puddle by now so got soaked even more) i was so beat. Side hurt a bit like a crap i used to get from drinking water during practice but i had no water so wonder why i got that. maybe not enough water during the day?
walking warm up/down 6:00 [1] 0.1 mi (59:58 / mi)
shoes: Saucony
slow jog/walk back to school.

Thursday Mar 6

running warm up/down 7:00 [1] 0.1 mi (1:09:58 / mi)
slept:8.0 shoes: Saucony
jog down to the path and then a quick stretch as it was a bit windy/cold.
running 36:35 [3] 4.0 mi (9:08 / mi)
shoes: Saucony
First official track practice!!! distance people went for a nice easy ~40 min run. we ended up running faster than we thought (maybe cus two of us had to go to the bathroom, me being one, so we ran faster to the bathroom lol) but was breathing harder than i wanted to for this distance/pace. But at least i was out getting a work out right? my track team is really small so not a lot of people to push me to train/run hard sadly a lot of that is going to have to be mental encouragement on my part. first race i hear is on the 26th so coming up fast! i hope i'm ready!!!

17:33-out
9:27-1 mile back
5:30- bathroom/stretch break
8:35- last mile back
these times are right but the over all time may be a bit off i did the math to add the running parts but my math i think might be off.

running warm up/down 3:00 [1] 0.1 mi (29:59 / mi)
shoes: Saucony
very short warm down jog back to the school. about 3 blocks.
stretching warm up/down 15:00 [1]
shoes: Saucony
stretching back at the school.
strength 9:00 [3]
50 skulls -> 30 sec break -> another 50 skulls -> 30 sec break -> 50 sit ups (could not do any more skulls they are so much harder!!) -> 30 sec break -> 25 really pathetic push ups.
Note
hellish day at school!!!! too much work not enough time and super tired!!!! And i still have bio and history hw to finish and yes it is 12:15am so i guess really this should be on the 7th but talking about the 6th so yeah.

Tuesday Mar 4

dance (tango) 30:00 [1]
Ballroom dancing after school today as Track we aren't allowed to start until thursday (official practice) apparently. So a nice easy ballroom session. Only had one guy though so um i have decided more guys should learn to dance lol. Legs hurt a little bit at the end from not stretching yet today and being bent for about a half hour straight. learning a lot though! and it is fun!!!
C • that sounds so fun! were t... 5

Monday Mar 3

running 28:00 [2] 3.0 mi (9:20 / mi)
shoes: Saucony
So you would think if you have 3 track coaches that you would have at least one at practice. Well not today! one was at a track meeting to find out all the details of the races and such, one had engineering club, and the other forgot clothes/shoes so couldn't run with us and thought we weren't starting until next week anyway (even though we have been running mondays and fridays since about January) So the three of us that showed up went for a run together and kinda just picked where we each wanted to run to. I decided to run three miles, as i was feeling a bit sore from yesterday, didn't get a good night sleep and i had to babysit at 6pm. I still felt super slow and got a big cramp in my side.

14:48-out
4:44- to lloyd hall (.5 miles)
3:22- bathroom/waiting break
8:36- rest of the way back (1 mile)
C • coaches... 2
