Sore throat, runny nose, sneezing = not good! I hate being sick!!!!!!
I also hate how much work i have!!! Really all i want is for college and school stuff to stop taking over my life. I want to be able to train again without it making me feel worse or having to neglect other things. ba hum bug

Silly sore throat got worse over night and i woke up a few times from it! So decided not to go to the gym with mom this morning :/ and i REALLY wanted to!!! ugh i hate being sick!!!! So must start getting things done and off my to do list and hopefully i will get some strength stuff done at home.

Had to sprint from home half way to my old school in order to meet my friend there (i was running late :/ time is a guess and with lights) and then we continued to walk the rest of the way to my old school for a alumni reunion. It was nice to see all my old teachers again!
Then walked back and we watched Juno which was fun and double as me doing research for my english paper!!!

It is crazy how much work and how many deadlines can get jammed together all at once and how easily you can get distracted when you don't want to do something :/ About 2 papers, 7 science write-ups, one math website, a commercial to edit, 3+ Scholarships to apply to (with essays), and SATs to study for. All of which needs to get done by the 15th! EKKKKK
also must get new running shoes. Track conditioning starts on Monday, we will see if i have time for anything right now. I want to cry!

Had to do a lot of work on putting together scholarship applications and then a ton of homework. I have so much due on the 15th it isn't even funny! It is also very cold here and i have a sore throat so weary about doing anything outside.

Really annoyed at sister. I ended up getting to sleep after midnight and then getting woken up around 5:45am by her alarm and she continued to be loud until 6:20ish. I'm not ok with that!!! I need my sleep and i didn't have to get up until 7:30!!!! and it isn't like it is a dorm room she could have brought everything she needed last night for the morning into the bathroom already or something, but no. ugh

Anyway noticed something interesting. So was looking at my log broken into years and was about to get upset at how many hours i had as an 8th and 9th grader. Then i noticed that i counted things like PE and my walk to school and such in my log. Which i guess i should have counted back then but now i wouldn't have. Interesting how your definition of a workout changes over time...

Warmed up on the bike before Liz's class. Didn't think we would have time so didn't grab a map- bad idea!

Took Liz's class with mom and heather again. It was full since it is the beginning of the year. Two guys actually in the class this time. It was a lot easier than last week. Faster pace, not as deep squats and lunges. More ab work for an extended amount of time, which felt easier than normal i think from all the core i have been doing lately. Anyway good class!!! It was funny cus there was one guy next to me who picked up like 20lb and 10lb weights. I picked up 8lb and 5lb. There were sometimes when i was going along fine with my 8lbs and he has to switch to the 10lb and was still have trouble, and he was buff. I laughed in my head :)

Was feeling really weak in the beginning and slow, but by the end of the side crunches started to feel better.

Note

Was going to go to the gym after school but got home and mom and i decided otherwise. She is starting to get a cold, I had a ton of stuff to do (which i only got a small portion done), and neither of us really had a game plan for what we wanted to do at the gym so it wouldn't have been very effective training.

Orienteering To-do-list:
1. Must e-mail Liz about a game plan for training so that know what i'm doing when i step into the gym. Should she her tomorrow for her class so can ask then as well.
2. Must ask dad to draw some courses on the Denmark maps he kindly printed for me.
3. Must create something about JWOC for the DVOA winter meeting.
