Today is SUNYACs and I am running the 1200 meter leg of the Distance Medley Relay (DMR).

Today I ran 3 miles on the indoor track and then went onto the elliptical for another mile, totaling 4 miles for the day. I felt pretty good.

Today we ran Layona which is a 6.4 mile loop. It was supposed to be an easy run day, but we went way too fast so I will count it as my Steady State run. We averaged around 6:10 mile pace for the entire run. My leg hurt a little but was almost unnoticeable until I attempted to do some pickups on the track.

My leg hurt on all the turns during the workout. The workout was 4x400 at 800 meter race pace. All my 400s were 60, 60, 62, and 59. In the end it came out to be equivalent to a 4:01 mile.

Today i ran the mile with Steve and Jack and I led for 800 meters. Then Jack took over and I drafted him for another 700 meters until both Jack and Steve kicked and my legs tightened up. I was pretty upset with the race. My legs also hurt a bit after the race was over.

I also ran the final leg of the 4x800 meter relay and ran a split of 2:06. I actually felt pretty good in this race and actually had a kick at the end. We finished in 3rd place..... possibly 2nd cause the lead team dropped the baton.

I ended up only going 5 miles because my leg was still hurting. It hurt at the end of the run, but not as bad as it did yesterday.

Today we ran a Fartlek workout outside on the roads. I ran pretty good with my best friend Nico! We ran a little over 45 minutes for about 7 miles on the day, running 6 miles outside and then finishing with 1 mile inside.

Today was the day of the meet. I ran 1 mile warm up when i arrived to Mt. Union, then another mile before my 1200 leg of the DMR relay, then I cooled down 800meters after the relay. Then I warmed up another 800 meters before my 800 meter run, and then cooled down about a mile after the race for a total of 4 miles.

Today for the easy run, we ran the Gun Loop, which was about 6 miles. After we got back, I ran another .5 miles on the indoor track. We then finished with 5 strides, stretching, and form drills.

Warmed up about a mile, then we started a ladder workout. The ladder was 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 400, 300, 200 with 4 minutes rest between each one. My times for those were 27, 45, 62, 1:17, 1:37, 62, 45, 29. I felt very strong throughout the workout. We then cooled down one mile and then we ended with core, stretching, and form drills.

Today I ran easy on the indoor track for 5 miles in around 36 minutes. Running that far on the indoor track was a tiny bit painful, but not too bad. My left Achilles hurt a little, but not to the point of tears. I felt pretty good for the most part though. I then finished with some quick strides and stretched.
