Today we had a hard workout on the indoor track. I ran a mile warm-up and felt pretty good. I then started the practice which was 4 sets of 400, 800. My 400s at the end of the workout were 65, 65, 64, and 63 seconds. On the other hand my 800s were also fast and were 2:17, 2:17, 2:13, and 2:13. For a rest i ran 400 meters between every 400 and 800 as well as between every set. After I finished I ran another mile cool down. I finished the day off with some form drills, stretching, and core. I felt really good today for the workout.

Today I ran about 3 miles on the track and then elliptical for another 2 miles (15 Minutes).

After my run and elliptical, I went swimming for about 45 minutes. It felt really good in the end and I felt really strong throughout.

Today I ran 2 laps with the team and then I ran for another mile, making about 1.25 miles when i arrived. Then I warmed up about 1.25 miles before my race in the Mile. After my race I did a 2 mile cool down.

I raced the mile in a 4:41.83, by cruising it in after hitting the 800 mark in 2:28, coming back in a 2:12 high, after pacing with the leader for the first 1000 and taking and holding the lead for the last 600. There was little competition in my race, so I know that I can definitely race a much faster Mile.... possibly a sub-4:30.

Today was the day before a meet, so I was only going to run a couple of miles at an easy pace as a basic shakeout run. I felt good today, but my Achilles began to hurt a little at the end. I then finished with some core.

Today i ran an easy 3 miles and stopped a little early cause my left Achilles tendon was hurting a bit. I then stopped into the training center to get it checked out and I was then told that I have Achilles Tendinitis. I then ice bathed and rolled out.

We ran a mile warm-up first. We then started our 4x800s outside around ring road. My first on was up-hill at 2:34, then down hill in a 2:25, then 2:35 uphill again and then 2:19 downhill with a 800 rest in between each one. After that i ran 3/4 miles cool down outside with about 1/2 mile inside on the track. Then we did core and then ran about 5 strides.

Today we went running on the roads and i turned around after 2.3 miles in order to get back in 4.6 miles to the school. After that I ran about 3/4 of a mile cool down on the indoor track. I then finished the day off with 5 strides as well as some core workouts. I rolled out in the training room after the workout.

Today we ran on the track indoors. I ran a mile warm-up then 4 800s each at 2:25 pace with 800 meters rest between each one. Then I finished with a mile cool down run. I felt good for the first two but felt like I was struggling on the final two. This I think is mainly because of all the base training I have and the lack of speed work I have done lately. From this I know that I will get back into the training atmosphere and drop my times back down to normal! I'm on a mission!
