| Ran with Annie and Paula up and down Bald Hill a couple of times. Chased a turkey up the road on the first time up. We thought he had left the area because he wasn't answering our less than perfect turkey calls. The trail going down the backside of the hill was full of overhanging poison oak. On the way back to the car met Bill Buckley, his wife, and poodle. Then Gary Gorton rode by so I talked to him as well. |

| Ran around on top of Mary's Peak with Paula and Annie. There was about 6-inches of snow on the ground. Annie was free to run whereever she wanted without me having to worry about poison oak. |

| Ran at Bald Hill with Paula and Annie off trail with the o-shoes. Most of the poison oak is in the forest or at the forest edge, so I ran in the meadows. I got good uneven ground and higher knee lift training, but no running on a straight line through a forest training. Saw a guy running with a black chihuahua. I just glanced up at him, but I think it was Les Gutches, Corvallis' own freestyle wrestling world champion.
