Club run at Chip Ross Park. Went out the back into McDonald Forest. Muddy in places. I tried to run off trail as much as possible.

Ran from work around the fields in the area and out towards Avery Park.

Warmup run at Bald Hill with Paula and Annie. This time we parked off of Harrison Blvd.
Running (hill intervals) 24:00 [3]
Hill repeats with Paula and Annie. This time we picked a patch of open forest off of the trail leading from the barn. This was more orienteering specific. Also, there was no mud. 25-30s up, 1 minute back down.
Running (cooldown) 9:00 [1]
Jog back to the car. Stretching afterwards at home.

Ran with Annabel and Honzau at Balboa Park in San Diego. Beautiful day--ran in shorts and tank top.

Running (hill intervals) 18:00 [3]
Hill intervals at the bottom of Bald Hill. 35-40 seconds up, 1:45-2:00 walk down. The trail was pretty muddy.

Ran back to the car.

Ran at the Adidas Bark Trail at Amazon Park in Eugene with Paula and Annie.

Ran 5-7 minute intervals with 2 minutes of rest.
Running (cooldown) 13:00 [1]
Cooldown. Did one of the laps backwards. Saw Marla Runyon. She was so smooth and really moving.

Rode bike to work and home.

Club run at Philomath HS cross-country track. Mostly ran with Andy and Annie. Paula kept up by cutting the corners.

Ran with Annie at Bald Hill. Went up the back hill until my watch read 32 minutes, then turned around. Christened a new pair of running shoes--white size 10 Brooks Beast.

Ran with Paula and Annie at Chip Ross Park. The trails were very muddy. 25 minutes of warmup and 5 minutes of running back to the car after the hill intervals.

Ran with Annie and Paula at Oak Creek. Ran up Enduro. Very steep in places.

Warmup around the cross-country course at Philomath HS with Paula and Annie

Ran each 400m lap at around 92-94 seconds with 86-88 seconds of rest. Haven't run intervals with this short of jogging rest before but I was able to finish the workout comfortably.

Jogged a couple of laps around the track after the intervals.

Club run at Oak Creek. Annie joined us. Uphill for 34 minutes then back down to the cars.

Ran up 30s walked back down roughly 1.5 minutes. Used the lower part of the hill.

Ran with Paula and Annie at the Lewisburg Saddle. Beautiful day.

Continuation of the run at Lewisburg Saddle. A couple of guys were going to overtake me, which is just not done! So I sped up.

Hiked with Paula and Annie to the parking lot at the top of Mary's Peak. 1:50:00 up and 1:20:00 down. Didn't eat enough before the hike so I was feeling lethargic.
