| Skied with Paula, Marie-Cat, and Scott on the Silverstar trails. Rode the chairlift up to the top which froze our asses off. We had to do some vigorous hill climbing to get the blood flowing to the extremities. The snow was very nice. One minor disappointment was that the little cafe at the top of one of the lifts was closed at 2. We got there at 2:10. We had to suffer with big warm cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate instead of soup. It was hell. :) |

| Ran with Annie at Bald Hill. I was reluctant to leave the house because it was pouring outside. When I finally got going, the rain had let up. Some of the neighbors had a little bit of flooding. In a couple of places, the runoff was on the road. Bald Hill was very flooded with major streams gushing down a couple of the trails. I tried to reroute at least one of the streams with a small bit of success. |

| Ran with Paula and Annie at a very swampy soggy Bald Hill. We were running in streams that were flowing either on or across the trails. Before we ran, a skunk sprayed in our backyard, courtesy of Annie. The smell got on everything in the house. At work, people from several cubicles away could smell my clothes. I had to go home a couple of times to change and shower. |

| Ran with Annie at Lewisburg Saddle. Cronemiller Lake was mostly frozen and the quarry was also frozen over. It started snowing a little towards the end. Annie did the most running today as she went out earlier with Paula for an hour. |

| Rode to work and home. Saw the geese again. This time they were in groups! The small ones were lighter colored and more gray. The bigger ones were dark brown. No neck rings on any of them. I think the smaller ones are Richardson's Cackling Geese. The two types I saw look just like the two geese pictured at the top of this page.. |
