| We did an orienteering event with the Kings Valley Charter school at Whispering Winds Girl Scout Camp. It was interesting to see what a wide range of abilities you get from a general population of kids. First rule, you cannot make it too easy. When course setting, I put one of the controls off of the main road on a side trail to make things a little more difficult. Big disaster! When I checked on things while they were running the course, *most* of the teams were floundering around looking for this control. Maybe if the map was better. I was quite proud of the 2 super teams, one boys team and one girls team, who crushed everyone else. | ||
