3x to the top of Bald Hill. 8:52, 9:02, 9:05. Slowest trail conditions yet. Mud, streams, ankle deep snow and slush. We got in the car just as a down pour started. Whew, just missed it. Paula did 2 3/4 up to the top. The most she has done in a while due to her muscle pull.

Ran with Paula and Annie at Bald Hill in the snow and slush. Put down first tracks along Mulkey Creek. Saw some raccoon tracks in the snow. I think we just missed him. The snow was nice and soft to run in. The slush was a little cold on the feet.

Paula drove me to work. Walked home. 1.5 hours.

Got some more snow last night. There was enough for the kids to sleigh ride down the bike path at Barley Hill. Another 1.5 hour walk to work and 1.5 hours home.

Walked to work since I didn't want to take a chance with the bike on the icy roads. We still have some snow on the ground. Saw a big flock of geese heading north. 1.5 hours the long way. 1 hour back the short way.

Commute. It snowed during the day, making the ride home a potential disaster. However, the crunchy snow had decent traction so I didn't have any problems. The roads were pretty slippery, so the cars were going very slowly. It was strange for me to be going at the same speed as the cars on Philomath Boulevard.

Was planning to run up and down Bald Hill three times, but as I was doing the first climb I felt low on energy. Likely due to the low amount of calories I have been eating to reduce my whale blubber. The time was comparable to what I have been doing lately (8:05) in very sloppy conditions, but I still bailed and jogged around on the flats. I did also do 2x30s hill bounding.
