Ran with Paula and Annie at Philomath HS. Was going to run intervals, but I was afraid of twisting an ankle on the uneven frozen ground.

Note
Walked to work since I didn't want to take a chance with the bike on the icy roads. We still have some snow on the ground. Saw a big flock of geese heading north. 1.5 hours the long way. 1 hour back the short way.

10 min warmup to the hill. 14 min cooldown back. Another nice cool dry morning.
Running hills 23:00 [3]

3x top of Bald Hill. 7:45, 7:45, 7:35 (pushed it on the last one). Again the frozen ground was treacherous on the ankles, but I survived intact.

Commute. It snowed during the day, making the ride home a potential disaster. However, the crunchy snow had decent traction so I didn't have any problems. The roads were pretty slippery, so the cars were going very slowly. It was strange for me to be going at the same speed as the cars on Philomath Boulevard.

Ran with Paula and Annie at Bald Hill on nice dry sunny (but cold) morning.

Ran from the house to Bald Hill, then ran with Paula and Annie for a little while. Paula's hip started to hurt, so she walked a different route while I ran the usual way.
