Not sure how to enter this one. Did the mtn bike orienteering race the Fat Tire Festival. Made it to 4 of the controls, but just as I made it to the 4th my rear hub blew. Of course it was at the farthest point from the start, so It may actually be 3.5 miles biking, 2.5 miles hiking.
It was a nice day for a hike.

Saturday Sep 17

Note
Chequamagon Fat Tire
Mtn Biking race 3:25:00 [3]40.0 mi (5:07 / mi) +600m 3:03 / km
Started conservatively and just wanted to finish without bonking or cramping severely. Successful day, and felt very strong at the finish. Near my time from two years ago. May have been a couple minutes on either side of it.

Thursday Sep 15

Road Biking 1:05:00 [3]18.0 mi (3:37 / mi)
Out and bbak on the Greenway. Beautiful night

Tuesday Sep 13

Running 45:00 [3]5.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
Franklin/Lake Loop with an extra spur to get 45 minutes in. Mainly to loosen legs up after long race on Sunday.

Sunday Sep 11

Running race 2:08:22 [4]25 km (5:08 / km) vdot: 41.6
City of Lakes 25k. Started at 8:30 pace or so and felt strong the whole way. Ran it with Dan who set the pace. Sped up the last 3 miles. Last long run beforee Twin Cities marathon.
Orienteering 23:00 [4]*** 1.5 km (15:20 / km) +50m 13:09 / km

Did relay leg at members only meet. Started off by hitting first two controls and made a 4-5 minute parallel error on control 3 in re-entrant. I never did see the parallel feature on the map during the leg, hence the long time to correct.
Time is an estimate.

Monday Sep 5

Running long 2:35:00 [2]18.0 mi (8:36 / mi)
I ran the TC marathon course from my house--about mile 17--to the finish and back. Felt pretty good. Got fairly hot by the end. Good day.

Sunday Sep 4

Running 39:00 [3]4.0 mi (9:45 / mi)
Began a long run on the TC marathon course, but lightning drove us back to safety. Nearly sprinted across Lake St. Bridge.

Friday Sep 2

Thursday Sep 1
