Orienteering race 4:24:00 [4] *** 15.0 km (17:36 / km) +1000m 13:12 / km
spiked:19/26c

Possum Trot. Great course in challenging terrain. Took an early skip that allowed me to lead for a short time and run with the lead group for awhile. Missed control 12 badly and never really recovered. Made a couple of smaller mistakes and then slowed down to be certain of my course.

Orienteering race 43:00 [4] *** 5.0 km (8:36 / km)
spiked:11/16c

Had a good run going at the MOKS Champs until the Micro section. Missed two of 4 and then saw Ian mispunch control 15. I reattacked, but came back to the same control. So I punched, not knowing if there was some mistake. I finshed and found out I had punched a control on the Yellow course 60 meters from the proper control.
Once again I was able to see Ian try to dismatle a fallen tree with his body. Loud and entertaining, but ineffective. Very fun course.

Ice skating with students from school. No talking, no fun, just skating

Running 45:00 [3] 4.75 mi (9:28 / mi)

Franklin Lake Loop in the snow. It was perfect. Followed the trail on both sides of the river and running down by the river was spectacular.

Classic Skiing 1:00:00 [2] 5.0 km (12:00 / km)

Skied for 20 minutes with Jasper in the backyard. This included "racing around the mountain" multiple times. Then I headed over to Merriam Park to ski around. 40 minutes around the park with some double poling.
