Mtn Biking 2:08:00 [3] 16.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Mountain biking with Molly on new trails at Murphy. A nice day. Dropped the kids off with friends and actually got away for awhile. Wish I had more than donuts for breakfast by the end.

Running 53:00 [3] 7.0 mi (7:34 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2110

Ford/Lake loop in the AM. Felt pretty good.

Mtn Biking (road with Jasper) 55:00 [1] 7.0 mi (7:51 / mi)

Rode with Jasper on the greenway past the midtown Global market and back. He was spent by the time we got back. 3 water breaks and a full Clif bar.

Mtn Biking (road with trailer) 50:00 [2] 8.5 mi (5:53 / mi)

Loaded up the tagaalong and Molly took the Chariot, then we headed to the fair. Operation Mitigate Caaloric Intake was underway. Ride there was a little stressful because of rush hour and fair traffic.

Performance at the fair was not great: I only ate half an order of cheese curds, 1.2 ears of corn and 1/2 a Summit. Not nearly as much as I had hoped for.

Bike home was very nice. At dusk, not a lot of traffic and the kids went right to bed when we got there.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] *** 5.0 km (12:00 / km)
spiked:25/25c shoes: Vasque Spur

Course setting and retrieval at Como. Split hanging the controls with Darryn. Got to collect all the controls aand sneak my workout in that way

Note

Made it through one of the more stressful weeks in recent history. Accomplished every thing that needed to be done and still got to get outside a number of times. Not bad. Hope to get more consistent with workouts, but I am not sure that is in the cards just yet. Rowing season starts in 2 weeks.

Other than the sprint at Como tomorrow, the highlight will be our annual graze at the State Fair. First stop Sweet Corn, then probably to the dairy barn, then across the street to the cheese curds. Yeeha!!

Trail Running 43:00 [3] 4.5 mi (9:33 / mi) +100m 8:56 / mi
shoes: Vasque Spur

Franklin/Lake loop on trails and down along river. One of those runs that felt tough the entire way.
