Saturday Jan 19

Running 1:00:00 [2]7.0 mi (8:34 / mi)
shoes: Vasque Blur 2
Decided to go for a run and check some clothing choices out for the temps. About 1 below when I left, and the temp seemed to drop as I went. Not bad, but if I had had to stop for any reason I wouldn't have stayed warm for long.
Strength 10:00 [1]
3 X 75 crunches
3 X 50 tricep dips
3 X single leg jumps and dancing on the square carpet to "It's the end of the World as we know it," by REM with Jasper Rena and Molly.

Wednesday Jan 16

Running 50:00 [2]10 km (5:00 / km)
Quick ski at Highland Golf Course in St. Paul on my way home from work. Mostly double poling. Conditions were okay. Track was washed out in a number of areas. Skate lane looked surprisingly good.

Monday Jan 14

Running 34:40 [3]4.5 mi (7:41 / mi)
shoes: Vasque Blur 2
Franklin/Lake loop before dinner. I gave Molly the option to workout, but she declined for some reason (maybe below zero windchills?). I took off at an easy pace and then decided to pick it up after crossing the Franklin bridge. Coming back across the Lake St. bridge I passed a guy who said, "Nobody ever passes me." That was fun to hear.
Good run and came in the house to sloppy joes for dinner. What could be finer?

Sunday Jan 13

Event: MNOC Winter O Nerstrand Big Woods

Skate Skiing 1:56:00 [2]30 km (3:52 / km)
Couldn't figure out a way to make it to the O-meet with our schedule for the day so I got a long ski in later in the day at Hyland. Easy effort, talking with my friend the whole time. Highlight of the day was buzzing a couple waalking in the middle of the trail on a fast downhill.
C • missed a good meet but 2
