| Birkie. It went perfectly. I PR'd by about 7 minutes. The only place I could have made up some time was the start and maybe skied a little harder at some of the flatter spots. Extremely happy with my race and only started getting muscle twinges coming across the lake within 2k of the finish. Cold at the start and warmed up throughout the race.

| Annual pre-Birkie ski from Fish Hatchery across 77 and up the last big hill of the course. Molly and I got out and skied, taking our time and then back to Fish Hatchery for a lap. View is cool from the high point. Definitely a ski for mental wellness more than any physical benefit. |

| Convinced Molly to go to Battle Creek with me. We had a babysitter and everything. Not quite the outing I had envisioned. One loop was plenty chilly. Full moon and overlook of St. Paul was very cool. |

| Skied with Jasper's MYSL group. I think they may have actually skied a little farther. Fun to see them skiing and to finally run into Darryn at the class. Nice day to be out. |
