Orienteering (vetting) 1:27:00 [2]6 km (14:30 / km)
spiked:23/24c shoes: Asics 2110
Vetting at Tamarack. Notes: stinging nettles, woodticks, 5 deer, 2 soaring hawks and one very angry little bird out in the prairie. I think I must have been running right at its nest, because it chased me. I yielded.
Mtn Biking 1:20:00 [3]8.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
Biked to Minnehaha with Molly's family. Then rented a "crazy bike" and rode that around for about 40 minutes. It was pretty fun and a great strength workout. Jasper biked the whole way on his own bike and was spent when we got back.

Friday May 23

Running 40:00 [2]3.5 mi (11:25 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2110
Ran with Molly to pick up J and R. We took the long way there along River Rd. and the direct route back.

Thursday May 22

Mtn Biking (with Chariot) 23:00 [2]2.7 mi (8:31 / mi)
Jasper got to ride his bike to school today. I pulled Rena in the Chariot. Unfortunately I had to stop by my house and get in the car to some to school.
Running 50:00 [3]5.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2110
Ran with the jogger to pick up Rena and Jasper from school. Then, as Jasper biked I ran to Lake Nokomis. Met Molly there for dinner and to possibly try a family paddle at the Midwest paddling expo. Rena refused to put on her PFD, so I stayed on shore while Molly and Jasper went out with someone else.

Wednesday May 21

Trail Running 25:27 [3]3.2 mi (7:57 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2110
Quick run before Molly got home with the kids. Not sure about the distance. Went out fairly easy. Ran back pretty hard.

Sunday May 18

Hiking (w/ Rena in backpack) 1:05:00 [2]2.0 mi (32:30 / mi)
A very cool family hike along the Superior Hiking trail from Hartley Nature Center in Duluth. Up to see Molly's Dad, and took the time for the hike. An excellent day.
