Trail Running 2:20:00 [2]13.0 mi (10:46 / mi)
shoes: Vasque Blur 2
From the house south along the river, down along Minnehaha Creek, then trough the dog park and trails to Fort Snelling.
Then back. Included an extra hill at the lock and dam and two reps of the steep hill at Historic Fort Snelling.
I think it might have been a little longer than 13, but it is tough to judge when running on trails.

Bike Commute (commute) 35:00 [2]8.0 mi (4:22 / mi)
Commute to JM, then to work, then to meet Molly
Mtn Biking 25:00 [4]7.0 mi (3:34 / mi)
Once I met up with Molly we picked up the intensity. Plan was to ride down past Minnehaha Park and then back to JM to get the kids. Sections of this were up to 21 mph on mountain bikes. Not bad for a couple of weekend warriors.

Then Molly got a pinch flat on her front tire. In one of my more chivalrous moments, I offered to stop and change the flat while she continued on my bike to pick up the kids. She agreed and I worked in the hot sun changing her tube while she got to go about her merry way. About 12 minutes to change the flat.

Mtn Biking (commute) 45:00 [3]9.0 mi (4:59 / mi)
Note
Just thinking about the Tri-loppet. Will we be as fast as last year? faster? who knows.
Paddling race 52:00 [3] 8 km (6:30 / km)

Trail Running race 24:16 [4] 5 km (4:51 / km)

Mtn Biking race 28:38 [4] 10 km (2:52 / km)

Sunday Jun 15

Mtn Biking 1:28:00 [3]20.0 mi (4:23 / mi)
Legs 1, 3, 5, and 7of LAA Tri-Loppet training. Rode the Greeway to Lake Calhoun where we rented a canoe, then to Wirth Park for a trail run, then back along the greenway to lunch at the Bad Waitress, then home. Although the overall mph weren't great, we were riding pretty hard on most sections. On the way back we stopped a number of times looking for a good lunch spot.
Paddling 52:00 [2]5.0 mi (10:24 / mi)
Rented an Alumitub at Calhoun for paddle training. Paddled most of the course and did some technique work. Molly is a good coach. We also practiced our super secret 180 turn. Sure to launch us into the lead and capsize nearby boats.
Distance is total estimate.
Trail Running 24:00 [2]2.3 mi (10:26 / mi)
shoes: Vasque Blur 2
Running at Wirth. Locked our bikes next to 394 and ran through the Quaking bog section and back next to EB. Just a short loop. Distance is estimate based on time.
