Note

Possum Trot Predictions, Prognostications, Trash Talk. Let it begin. Haven't we been to Bluff Woods before? Wasn't that the one with insane amounts of climb?

Bike Commute 40:00 [1] 12.0 km (3:20 / km)

Rode to Minnehaha Park with Jasper. Played on the playground and rode home.

Bike Commute 25:00 [2] 6.0 mi (4:10 / mi)

To school and home. Lost a lot of heat through my flip flops. Might have to consider different options for winter commuting.

Running 37:00 [3] 7.5 km (4:56 / km)
shoes: Vasque Blur 2

Franklin/Lake loop after bedtime. Is it too late to get in shape for the Possum Trot? Wore my Garmin but without the HR strap. Bummer. I found a new hill for repeats and would have liked to see the information. The path going down to the old boom site on the St. Paul side just north of Lake St. is awesome. About 55 seconds per hill and good climb. Not sure if it will be plowed this winter and the surface isn't entirely even, but it works.
On my last repeat I bounded ("ski imitation") and it worked great for that too.
Definitely going back there.

Running hills 10:00 [4] 1.5 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: Vasque Blur 2

Hill repeats at boom site access road.
5 reps. Last bounding.
