Supposed to be a build run, but ended up having to do a road run from home as not in office..

Felt okay in myself, but my hips and quads felt both sore and tight...

Only two weeks to go.... Thank god

Legs felt very tight

At about 25 minutes my left quad felt like it had a pull on the right side of it..... stopped and stretched - and ran it off......

Build morning - something about running 90 minutes on a treadmill - body says no!!

First 30 minutes at 11.5kph
Second 30 minutes at 12kph
Final 21 minutes at 12.5kph

Felt fine until 1 hour and 10 minutes, then struggled, kept going another 10 minutes, but by this point was on my knees - pushed to ten miles, then stopped

Really looking forward to "rest week" next week

Long Run, on roads to the South East and East of Dorking (relatively flat verses the hills to the North, South and West.....

Kept a steady pace around the route and felt good, through Newdigate, Leigh and into Reigate.. Started to suffer at about 17 miles, and the last bit really hurt....

Took two energy gels and drank about 750ml of water.....

Sat on sofa feeling tired and stiff...

Lost half a stone on the run (put it back on again now with a huge lasagna)..

Supposed to be a build day today, but whilst I was sleeping someone surgically inserted leadweights into my legs.... Felt very heavy and lethargic..... Poor session...

Started at 12kph for first 20 minutes, then went up to 12.5kph for the next 10 minutes, then dropped back to 11.5k for the final 15 minutes......

Supposed to do an hour, the head was willing but the legs said no.....

Wanted to do 1 hour 30 minutes but blew big style at about 1 hour and 10 minutes...

Treadmill only does an hour at a time - learn is to run the 30 minutes first and then restart the treadmill, the break in step at 1 hour really broke my rythm.

Back on the wagon
