East side of Thetis Lake map, a lot more runnable today. Managed a pretty clean run until #11, where I hesitated too much and lost 40-50sec. Turned out to be the time difference that Ted beat me buy. Would have been nice to have pulled that one out. Pi took the day with a 59 and change, while Ted (with a termendous Day 1 win) took the two day classic, congrats.

| BCOC's - Day 1
...ahhhh Thetis Lake salal. Well could have thrown away the HR monitor in this stuff. Not much more than a walking pace except on trails. My start got a little muddled and threw me a little, but no excuse for my major error on control 4. That 10min error took me out of the running for a medal... oops! I was pleased that i then kept focused and managed to take alot of the splits when comparing with Pi. First time on a map since Barebones (not including UVic campus c-meet a couple of weeks back).
