Tempo Training Run - Splits

Wednesday Apr 11

Note
(rest day)
Saw Dr.Erica today and she's given me the green light to start ramping up the training again, but with a strict note to do it gradually this time and to actually try stretching/strength.

Might be my last ART session ...I hope.

Note
(rest day)
Turned into a rest-day with the family. I had brought the road bike in anticipation of riding with my brother-in-law (who just bought his first road bike ever). Yet, should have brought the skis ..not joking here!!! Last night we got as far as New Hamberg, before my body finaly decided sleep was necessary and I asked Venus to take over the driving. By the time I woke up in Mitchel, we were crawling along at 50km/hr in white out conditions. The 1:45 drive took close to 3hrs, but we made it. Easily a foot of snow today and still coming down.

Saturday Apr 7

Event: Giant's Rib Raid

Running 2:00:00 [1]
Monitoring the GRR course; was ~8hrs but will call it 2hrs of low level terrain running
Running 3:00:00 [2]
Clearing the orienteering hardware from the woods post race; took the mtn bike to aid, but think it was more of an detriment than an aid

Friday Apr 6
