Day 6: Parkside to Canoe Lake. Took the shorter route through the Ragged Lake dam rather than the portage across (a future adventure). Inlet to the pond on the portaging route was very low and would have extended the portage around the edge. Enthusiasm for this was not very high today.

After paddle trail run with Aragorn. He was excited enough for both of us to get this done. A bit dizzy on the return, which was not good on boardwalks past the muddy spots.

A hard day, with an intentional off-route map to Minto Marsh and some wicked portaging. Thankfully, we brought a strong back (not my own) for the Bluebell to Mikado un-portage
