TTD3 - Mount Edgcumbe

Legs shot today - warming up improved matters but still not a lot of zip. Another straightforward area - spotted that #11 was the main danger control and took a nice safe route to it.
Lost little bits of time around #16 and #17 largely due to vegetation mapping.

Overall a great weekend in terms of weather and scenery but not a lot of orienteering challenge. Positive that recent upper back pain has seemingly abated.

TTD2 - Davidstow

Super fast highly visible 'moorland'. Nothing much to slow you down. Ran as fast as I could and was quite satisfied with average pace - genuinely amazed at how quick JamieP was.

#6 Small path was boggy and slow - straighter route to south of green would have been quicker [30]
#9 Not sure how my bearing was that far off. Was planning ahead and not looking up [40]
#11 Stayed lower than intended after crossing marshy valley [30]
#21 More rock than mapped - looked on a more northerly patch first [20]
#23 Again, more unmapped rock led me astray. Should have used contours [60]

TTD1 - Plymouth Urban

Quite interesting for an urban - enjoyed it.

#1 Non-optimal route - didn't risk straighter route as at first glance it appeared uncrossable boundary was continuous - in actual fact uncut circle [10]
#2 Mapping slightly unclear but arguably should have approached this from below anyway [20]
Thereafter generally ok with time to plan ahead.
#16 Number placement meant it appeared that there was a gap by the building that I was aiming for - there wasn't but ramp was just to south so no real time loss.
#17 Went down and up ramps rather than staying high... [10]
#23 Thin line adjacent to western building suggested simple route down but the map was lying. Took my time to rectify matters [50]
#24 Evidently there was an underground path that avoided having to double back but hadn't planned this bit and map was tricky to interpret so went for easy route [40]
#26 Didn't risk small gap past OOB but in retrospect quite a bit further doubling back again [20]
#31 Unmapped private access and large fence resulted in parallel error into olive green. Hard to know how to map in this instance but frustrating [30]
