Long way to come, but fancied a proper run out. Unfortunately there were only 3 entries on the Black.

Map was rather dodgy - lots of unmapped extraction lanes in places and generally worse undergrowth than shown. However, I was determined to use off path routes where possible even if this did lead to some time loss.

#6 Lost indistinct small path so headed N to edge of farmland. Getting there was a challenge; battling through considerable windblow. Looking on legend afterwards farmland is listed in the OOB section but no marking on the map and the line was not bent around the corner... [45]
#7 Determined to cut the corner; went in a bit early hoping to find extraction lanes leading the right way but was forced around a little. Found unmarked wall but knew I needed to go further east [60]
#8 Struggle to get out to path initially, then headed in a little early as the small holes looked quite large [30]
#9 Couldn't decide on corner cutting then drifted SW of control [25]
#16 The previous control was in the wrong place (albeit in the adjacent hole so no time loss). Was wondering whether they would remove the subsequent leg rather than concentrating. Hence when I spotted a distinct veg boundary (unmapped) placed myself further east than I was and hugely overshot the control. Should have realised sooner to be honest [3m]
No real time loss after that, started to tire though.

So, last place (only 7mins behind RR, but he almost certainly lost more than me through map inconsistencies and hidden flags due to grippling...)

Brief chance to get out for some exercise. Hours at Hull are not good for exercise or sleep quantities...
