primary faults
1. grounding club behing ball - too much hip slide.
FIX - left foot out, weight on arch, close stance, little closure of club face
weight on left foot, finish on toe for shorter irons
2. left hook and mishit with driver, ?arm/shoulder dissasocaition
FIX - start with hands behind ball
3. too fast on down swing
FIX - Freddy..Cou-PLes through impact and finish
Note
Why the closed stance may work for me.
1. Your rotation to the right is less
2. You start with the club coming straight back.
3. You start your downswing with a slide to the left.
Open stance hurts you since you cannot turn as much bakc and it promotes too much of a lateral slide.
So set up closed. can adjust the toe angle. swing straight back and it will drop inside. Start the downswing with the lateral shift.
Close the face a touch will hit it straighter.
Other drills - cheek to cheek with bag, hit balls with feet together, hit with feet in line to help rotate more.
